Microcomputer-controlled stress-strain triaxial instrument
A method of determining the shear strength of soil, usually with 3 or 4 cylindrical specimens, each applied to different constant ambient pressures (i.e., small principal stress σ3), (i.e., stress difference (σ1-σ3)), shear until failure.
